2023 Season Overview*

We are looking forward to seeing everyone for a fantastic 2023 season!  Scroll down for your camp info.  Please note, start dates will be determined by the end of March based on snow levels. Lineup of work is subject to change during the season depending on snow level, production of each camp and availability of seedlings.  

**Please start dates below can change based on weather conditions.  Please stay tuned for updates over the next month and a half!  You will be getting a training & onboarding email separately.

Will Verboon Camp

​Will’s camp will start first week of May near Prince George, on a Canfor Prince George Project and get their feet wet. Prices here will range from 16-19 cents. This camp will then move to Whitecourt for the remainder of the season. Starting mid May with some fast West Fraser trees and then moving to some Canfor trees from 14 to 16 cents.  Prices will range from an average of 13-14 cents for prepped ground and 14-15 cents for raw.  For the duration of May, June and July the camp will see 2-3 camp moves in the Whitecourt area. 

Meet in Prince George on May 2nd for a May 4th start.
Tammy Laidlaw Camp

This camp will start the season the first week of May in Saskatchewan for approximately 2 weeks. Prices will range from 13-16 cents. This camp will move to High Level for the remainder of Spring and beginning of summer.  Prices will range from 13-16 cents. Towards the end of the summer plant, the camp will move to BC to complete the season in the Mackenzie area on a project with prices ranging from 17 to 22 cents.

​Meet in Meadow Lake on May 3rd.  Training and orientation on the 4th and start on May 5th


Spencer Burnie Camp

Spencer’s camp will be starting the first week of May in the Vanderhoof area, working on the Sinclair Group Forest Products project. Prices here will range from 15-18 cents.  This camp will then move northwest of Fort St James to known camps near Tchentlo and Lovell Cove for the remainder of the spring, working on Canfor projects with prices ranging 15-19 cents. The month of July will be spent in the Germansen area working for Canfor Mackenzie, with a mix of raw ground and burnt ground. Prices ranging from 15-19 cents.

Meet in Vanderhoof on May 1st for a May 3rd start.  
Emile LeClair Camp

Emile’s camp will start the season in Barriere mid to late April with a small group. Prices ranging from 16 to 20 cents. This camp will move mid May to Quesnel for the remainder of the spring working on burnt ground from the 2017 fire, raw ground and some trenches. Prices ranging from 14 to 16 cents on prepped ground, 15 to 18 cents on raw ground and 19 to 22 cents on fill. Summer project will be east of Prince George working for Canfor. Prices ranging from 17 cents to 26 cents.

Meet in Barriere on April 30th for a May 2nd start
Regan McFarlane Camp

​Regan’s camp will start the season in the Fort St James area during the first week of May, working on a new project acquired through our First Nation partnership. Mostly raw ground with prices ranging from 15 to 18 cents. Towards the end of May, the camp will be moving to the North end of Babine Lake for the remainder of spring, working for Canfor with prices ranging from 15-18 cents. Summer project will be in the Fort St James area and Mackenzie area for all of July working on KDL and BCTS trees. Prices ranging from 15 to 22 cents.
