2024 Season Overview*

Are you ready for a fantastic 2024 season? We are hard at work planning and getting ready.  Please note, start dates will be determined by the end of March based on snow levels. Lineup of work is subject to change during the season depending on snow level, production of each camp and availability of seedlings.  

We have a substantial number of trees that are being planted on early ground.  An April start in BC will be available to everyone interested.  Let your crew leader know if you'd like to join.

Will Verboon Camp

Will's camp will start late April/early May in BC.  Mid May, this camp will then move to Whitecourt for the remainder of the season on our Canfor project.  Prices ranging from 14-19 cents.
Tammy Laidlaw Camp

This camp will start the season the first week of May in Saskatchewan for approximately two weeks.  Prices range from 14-17 cents.  This camp will move to High Level for the remainder of Spring and the beginning of summer.  Prices range from 13-17 cents.  Towards the end of the summer plant, the camp will move to BC to complete the season in the Mackenzie area on a project with prices ranging from 17-23 cents.


Spencer Burnie Camp

Spencer's camp will be starting the first week of May in the Quesnel area until mid June, working on the Section 108 project, the majority is burnt ground.  Prices here will range from 16-24 cents.  This camp will then move to Mackenzie (Germansen area) to known camps for the remainder of the spring and summer, working on Canfor projects with prices ranging from 16-21 cents. 
Emile LeClair Camp

Emile's camp will start the season in Vernon, BC early to mid April on our Vernon Section 108 project.  Prices range from 17-20 cents, this project has a large amount of trenches and burnt ground.  This camp will move late May to Quesnel for the remainder of the spring working on burnt ground.  Prices ranging from 16-24 cents.  The summer project will be east of Prince George working for Canfor.  Prices range from 17-28 cents.

Graham Pitfield Camp

Graham's camp will be starting mid to late April on our Vernon Section 108 project.  Prices range from 17-20 cents and this project has a large amount of trenches on burnt ground.  Late May, move to Grande Prairie into an isolation fly-in camp, equipped with a logging camp.  The camp will spend three weeks at this location.  It is an all-fly project with prices from 15-18 cents.  The camp will eventually move for summer trees in the Whitecourt area on our West Fraser project with prices ranging from 14-17 cents.  The camp will return to Grande Prairie for a small summer project.  Prices will range from 16-20 cents.
Sam Rush Camp

Sam's camp has a full season in the Fort St James Area.  The start of the season is weather dependant, if projects are not readily available the first week of May, this camp may start in the Okanagan. The month of May will be spent close to FSJ on a partnership project with prices ranging from 16-20 cents.  All raw ground.  The camp will move to an isolation area for two weeks of work on a Canfor Project West of of Takla Lake with prices ranging from 17-20 cents.  All raw ground.  Followed by a move to another isolation camp in Lovell Cove for the remainder of Spring/Summer.  Prices ranging from 16-19 cents.  All raw ground and a good portion of burnt ground.
