
Blue Collar Camps is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our projects throughout Western Canada. This is a full-time position and will require some travel to job sites. Blue Collar installs and demobilizes temporary and permanent structures, including remote camps, offices, field units, multi-unit housing and modular schools.

Blue Collar Camps provides installation services for remote camps and modular buildings across Western Canada. Our services include camp installation, setup or demobilization and maintenance. Blue Collar has been operating since 1983. Our trained staff includes machine operators, carpenters, plumbers, safety personnel (National Construction Safety Officers) and project managers. Blue Collar maintains a well-equipped and organized tool inventory and our safety record meets and exceeds industry standard. Blue Collar services the construction, oil and gas, mining, energy and forestry sectors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review contracts, prepare RFQ’s, secure sub-contractors and manage suppliers
- Develop/maintain good relationships with Clients, Consultants, Subtrades, and Suppliers
- Project scope development including execution strategy, estimating, and timelines
- Provide leadership and support for your team
- Provide assistance with the project specific HSE plan when needed
- Creation and management of project schedules
- Identifying risks and road blocks to the successful completion of the project and work with Management to resolve
- Manage project financial performance.
- Estimate changes.
- Manage multiple projects.
- Review the project at completion with management and discuss successes and challenges.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have two years of Construction Management experience and experience with the modular industry.
- Must be able to read and understand design drawings, specification sheets, manuals and construction related documentation.
- Exceptionally organized.
- Must be able to multi task projects and work effectively as a team with Site Supervisors and Operations Managers.
- Must be knowledgeable with WCB regulations and construction safety policies and procedures.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and experience in Project Management software.
- Must have excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and clean driver abstract, be comfortable driving a company vehicle if necessary.
